Stage One Complete

 

Stage One of the Hall Extension was officially opened on a very sunny Saturday 4th May 2019, with a blessing by Rev. Sue Lodge-Calvert. Rev. Sue initiated the project as our parish priest, and much planning and fundraising work by parish councillors and parishioners has taken place in the intervening eight years. Now retired, we were happy that Rev Sue was on hand to see the completion of the first stage of the project and to cut the ceremonial patchwork ribbon!

Stage One, was funded entirely by the parish, Mustard Seed earnings, and the wider Denmark community, and built entirely by local tradespeople.

ARCHITECT: GRAHAM KERSHAW: Graham donated much time and half his fees to see the project through.

​

BUILDER: WESTRUCT: Steve Madaffari, with many local tradespeople, worked efficiently and with sensitivity to the ongoing operations of the Mustard Seed and St Leonard's.
